Innovative Allego Trailblazers Recognized at S3 Virtual Showcase

Nearly 700 sales, training, and learning and development professionals from leading companies attended Allego’s S3 Virtual Showcase in June. One of the most highly anticipated moments of the conference were the presentations from innovative customers named as finalists in the annual Allego Trailblazer Awards competition.

The competition highlights real-world Allego experiences of three leading-edge customers. This year’s Trailblazer Award finalists were Baxter Healthcare Corporation (Tim Kingsford, Senior Manager, Learning, Innovation and Operations), Jackson National Life Distributors LLC (Annabel Chynces, AVP of Distribution Training and Development) and TherapeuticsMD (Melissa Bryant, Senior National Training Manager).

The finalists were selected from a pool of submissions by a panel of industry expert judges, including Nancy Nardin, Founder, Smart Selling Tools & Co-Founder, Vendor Neutral; Lori Richardson, CEO and Founder, Score More Sales & President, Women Sales Pros; and Tim Hagen, Chief Coaching Officer, Progress Coaching.

Each company submitted a video case study that described their business challenges and how they overcame them, Allego use cases, and the quantitative and qualitative benefits of Allego for their organizations. The presenters also shared best practices from the Allego platform to help others learn from their experience and reap the same benefits.

Attendees voted live during the virtual conference and chose Jackson National Life Distributors, a leading provider of retirement products for industry professionals and their clients, as the 2020 Trailblazer Award winner for its impactful use of Allego’s sales learning and enablement platform. Read on to learn more about each of our Trailblazers.

Trailblazer Winner: Jackson National

Presented by Annabel Chynces, AVP of Distribution Training and Development

Jackson is dedicated to helping Americans pursue financial freedom for life. With $297.6 billion in IFRS assets, the company prides itself on sound corporate risk management practices and strategic technology initiatives. Focused on thought leadership and education, Jackson provides industry insights and financial representative training on retirement planning and alternative investment strategies.

During her session, AVP Annabel Chynces shared how Jackson used Allego to improve its Career Development Program and help train wholesalers throughout the selling process with the use of video learning.

“We’re thrilled to have been named Allego’s 2020 Trailblazer Award winner,” said Chynces. “We’ve seen tremendous success from our wholesalers after our initial rollout of the Allego platform and are looking forward to using Allego to continue to evolve our training programs and improve communications with our advisors in a compliant way.”

Trailblazer Finalist: Baxter Healthcare International

Presented by Tim Kingsford, Senior Manager, Learning, Innovation and Operations

Every day, millions of patients and caregivers rely on Baxter’s leading portfolio of critical care, nutrition, renal, hospital and surgical products. For more than 85 years, the Fortune 500 American healthcare company has been building upon the company’s rich heritage of medical breakthroughs, with products, technologies and therapies available in more than 100 countries.

Senior Manager Tim Kingsford leads training for the Americas sales team, which stretches from Canada to Argentina and employs 1,400 reps and support staff. Since launching the Allego-supported certification program, Kingsford’s team has produced 68 different video sales scenarios for the Americas region, which has generated more than 80,000 learner activities in the system.

Most important, Kingsford’s team logged 1,521 coaching sessions during the annual certification—a period of just 60 days—enabling it to issue 1,003 annual certifications to the sales force before the end of 2019.

“Allego gives us that reach and allows us to get geographically distributed to our organization very easily and effectively,” said Kingsford.

Trailblazer Finalist:  TherapeuticsMD

Presented by Melissa Bryant, Senior National Trainer

TherapeuticsMD, Inc. is an innovative healthcare company, focused on developing and commercializing novel products exclusively for women. The company is committed to advancing the health of women and championing awareness of their healthcare issues.

In the tightly regulated pharmaceutical industry, new products and initiatives never see the light of day unless they are first scrutinized and greenlighted by the company’s legal and compliance departments. Although the sales and marketing teams, as well as the senior leadership, were excited about Allego’s potential as a communication and training tool, it first had to get buy-in from legal and compliance.

Bryant’s professional development team designed a rigorous set of protocols regarding how, when, and by whom Allego could be used. The result is a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that can serve as an excellent “best practices model” for any organization planning to adopt Allego.

“Our professional development team … can now see exactly what we’re training, and how the reps are interpreting it. We can pivot very quickly based on the feedback we get,” said Bryant.

Congratulations to our Trailblazers!

Thank you to our three finalists for sharing their expertise with our S3 Virtual Summit attendees. We look forward to seeing the triumphs of other innovative Allego customers at S3 2021!
